Challenge
Requirements and theme
James Lee is a musician who is releasing his first solo EP 'The Light'. In order to make sure that his fans have the most up-to-date information on his concerts and events, James needed a site that is easy to navigate, responsive, and easy to update and maintain by his staff. A web store is also needed in order to fulfill merch sales.
The design of the site should reflect the message in his new album, which primarily focuses on recovery and finding 'the light' to move on after an arm injury forced him to give up playing bass.

Solution
The Light
A completely customized theme will be built using WordPress as the CMS to best suit the client's needs. Utilizing WordPress's native inputs combined with ACF, his staff will be able to update the site's contents without having to touch code. A web shop using Shopify as the cart system will also be made with a customized theme to match the main site, and will be incorporated into the site as a sub domain.
